Since ancient times, dragon and phoenix have been regarded as symbol of rights, dignity and good luck by Chinese people. Dragon indicates China emperors in the past dynasties, and phoenix represents their imperial concubines. This is a noble metal watch equipped with platinum diamond watch case. The fully polished 40mm caliber watch case made of Pt950 platinum is beset with 68 bright top grade natural diamonds. The winding stem, belt buckle made of platinum and watch belt made of crocodile stomach skin are like ladies’ attire, showing her precious nature. "HAND ENGRAVED BWAF" and "UNIQUE PIECE Pt950" studded on the side face of watch case reminds people of its outstanding quality.

　　The artistic carving of this watch is a unique in the world.

　　In the center of the circular watch dial, Tian’anmen rostrum—the registered trademark of Beijing Watch Factory Co., Ltd, is carved on the main clip plate directly, gleamingly in the rising clouds. A lifelike dragon is flying in the clouds. The dragon’s squama and claws, as well as glazed roof tiles on the Tian'anmen rostrum are clearly seen. The balance cock of tourbillion structure is like a flotant Chinese swallow that has piled feather.

　　Through the sapphire glass we can see the decorative face of the movement. The carved upper plate is like a group of resplendent and magnificent droplights in the sky, with clouds circling around. The big and small steel wheels are occupied by one silver dragon respectively; while winding the watch, two silver dragons are rolling and dancing, just like playing in the clouds. Three gold dragons are groveling at the sides of the gilded barrel bar, peeking at the two silver dragons.

　　The carving master carves beautiful patterns on the back of all clamp plates (base face of assembly); double faces of driving wheel on barrel, barrel cover, pallet bridge, revolving rack and second wheel plate; side face of driving wheel on barrel; spoked wheel of center gear; moving curb pins and even the screw surface.

　　On top right corner of the back of barrel bar is the rising sun; under its rays of light is the dropping moon. In the dawn, a phoenix is dancing and singing, like calling its faraway lover. On the other side, a powerful gold dragon in the clouds is gazing at its dancing lover.

　　Parts of driving wheel on barrel are drive source of the watch. The carving master carved two flying dragons on the driving wheel on barrel and barrel cover respectively. The dragon on the barrel cover is crossing all the four directions, whirling about in the clouds.

　　It cost master watchmakers one year to make this China tourbillion watch. Over three months were spent in carving the barrel bar and main clip plate.

　　In order to ensure the completeness of surface pattern of main clip plate, Beijing Watch Factory Co., Ltd made blind hole clamp plate (changing through holes on the main clip plate dial into blind holes) specially. Master Xu designed hour wheel maintaining small plate and circular dial plate particularly. To make sure that the tabletting, dial outline and main clip plate can completely fit together, he amended the design for three times. The revolving rack made of titanium alloy is so rigid that machines could hardly cut, let along hand carving. You can imagine how advanced technique is required to carve dragons and phoenix on so hard and tiny place.
　　To make sure that carved components will not encounter quenching strain, big and small steel wheels and hour wheel maintaining small plate are quenched firstly and then carved (quenching hardness HRC58060, higher than common glass)

　　* Carving double sides patterns on the spoked wheel of the gear first;
　　* Carving patterns on quenched steel parts firstly;
　　* Carving patterns on the bottom and sides of driving wheel on barrel, and top of barrel cover first;
　　* Carving patterns on the overall revolving rack, second wheel and pallet bridge of tourbillion structure first;
　　* Carving patterns on hairspring stud ring first;；
　　* Carving patterns on all quenched screws first...
