On Dec 22, 2006, ceremony of awarding great master Shi Wenli “Gold Design” was ceremoniously held in Beijing Trends Mansion.
Xue Xuejun, board chairman with Beijing Watch Factory Co., ltd awarded the first domestic “Gold Design” to Mr. Shi Wenli as an encouragement with regard to his outstanding achievements in movement design for more than forty years. And his prize referred to a Oriental Tourbillon spring and autumn white gold watch, especially made by Beijing Watch Factory Co., ltd.

When giving speeches of award, manager general, Miao Hongbo with Beijing Watch Factory Co., ltd thought highly of great master Shi Wenli’s outstanding achievements in inner works of watch design for 42 years in Beijing Watch Factory Co., ltd. Since more than 40 years, Shi Wenli has taken charge of designing automatic framework of Model ZBIC watch and automatic and date framework of Model ZB2-2 united thin watch. In recent years, he and Mr. Xu Yaonan have co-designed framework of power reserve, date and fly back date of oriental Tourbillon, movenent of Model TB02 double Tourbillon , as well as inner works of Model TB03 Tourbillon 8-Day Power Reserve. Of them, movenent Tourbillon Relatif watches have been sold within limit for many times, leading Beijing brand of watch in China top-grade watch market. Today the first delivered “Beijing 2008” double Tourbillon watch is the first double Tourbillon watch in China with unique flexible moment differential coefficient devices and embodying its first creative spirit. movenent of Model TB03 Tourbillon 8-Day Power Reserve, being trial-produced, will be listed in the market, which will initiate the first in China.
It is reported that Beijing Watch Factory Co., ltd specially established “Life Achievement Award” to honor those outstanding employees contributing to development of enterprise. Employee with laurel can enjoy special allowance and receive special cares of enterprise in life up to life end after departing from the position. The father of oriental Tourbillon Watch, Xu Yaonan, is the first great master to gain “Life Achievement Award”.
